Loch Naver and the surrounding mountains of Ben Klibreck, Ben Loyal
and Ben Hope.
The area is popular with mountain climbers, cyclists hillwalkers
or those who just prefer a more gentle walk . For those who are
interested in fishing, there are some excellent lochs for fishing
for brown
trout. Ornithologists can enjoy the variety of birds to be found
in this part of Scotland . Historians can visit the new Highland
Clearance Trail which opened in 2003 .If you just want to get away
from it all and relax in peace and tranquillity, Altnaharra is
the place in which to do it. |
